For a layman, this problem may not be easily solved because he or she is not yet aware of the many ways on how to speed a slow computer. But for professionals in the field, this is just a very small problem. Well I guess I am here to teach those curious individuals three simple steps to speed up a slow computer.

    Let me start by discussing the maintenance of a clean registry.  A jammed up registry may cause a computer to slow down. This is caused by the buildup of unwanted information in the registry. This type of registry becomes unsteady can easily be damaged. It also makes your system slow to respond to many commands. So in order for you to prevent this problem, you need to clean your windows registry regularly. You can do this with the aid of a registry tool cleaner that can also defragment your computer and remove all irrelevant files, folders and information.

    The second way is maintaining a hard clean disk. We all know that all information and data are stored in our hard disk. So when there is already a build up of obsolete files, we may find our computer slow to respond. When we store large programs and softwares on our hard disk, we can notice that the files in there slowly build up even if we are not adding more programs. This is because there is already much unwanted information in our disk. And this unwanted information is very prone to viruses and spywares which may eventually destroy the computer system. Well you can always maintain a clean hard disk by performing the following:

• Performing regular system scans
• Uninstall programs using an efficient program uninstaller
• Using disk cleanup tool
• Using disk defragmenter

These are just some of the few ways that can help us clean our hard disks.

Lastly one should always check the system memory of his or her computer. Usually a computer slows down because there is not enough memory or RAM on the system. Sometimes memory chips are also not working properly. To check on this problem you should have a regular memory test in your computer.  This will help in determining if there are really errors in your memory. If there are problems in your memory chip, you must immediately replace it. And if you memory chip is in good condition, you may just increase the memory of your computer.

These are the three simple ways which can help you speed up your slow computer and also prevent your PC from experiencing problems which may eventually lead to its destruction. We all want fast working computers for our everyday tasks and works. So we should always aim to make our computer clean, healthy and free from viruses so that we can be sure that it will function properly and give us the excellent performance we are asking from it.
