My comparison shopping for a good registry cleaner ended last week and I am finally relieved. Over the last few weeks, my computer has begun to crash time and time again and I was seeing a lot of errors. When this problem first arose, I thought my computer was getting over heated. I then decided to take it into a room that was air conditioned. To my dismay, the problem continued to persist.

I called up my friend who is very knowledgeable about pc tools, and was told there might be some errors on the registry that need to be fixed right away before more damage is done. I then asked him if there was anything I could do to fix these errors. He told me buy a simple software program or scanner called Regcure that would probably fix the problem by doing a simple registry scan.

I then decided to do some research on regcleaner or regcure as it is commonly called on the web. After running a search on Google, I realized that there were many reviews of this program out there on the Internet. Some of the reviews on this software were good, while others were bad.

Overall regcure got top reviews that were unbiased and independent and confirmed by lab tests. Of the bad reviews I found on this product, the most common complaint was the lack of more than one method of cleaning the registry. In my opinion that is a good thing as it saves my time from learning all these different methods.

However, I learned that Regcure can do many things that the other registry cleaning programs cannot. One of these abilities is the automatic repair feature. The program actually gives you the choice of automatically fixing items after a scan. The program also automatically makes a back up of your files each time that you use it and more importantly it employs safe clean methods to clean the registry.

This gives you peace of mind knowing that your files are safe even if something horrible were to happen. This feature is one of my favorite aspects about this software, the other being its ease of use.

Another great feature that Regcure has is Startup Management. This feature easily gives you access to all the programs that are launched when you initially start the computer and allow you to selectively turn them “on” or “off”. After checking out several reviews out there about Regcure, I decided that I would give it a shot and repair my PC finally.

To my surprise, there were thousands of errors on my hard drive. The program immediately fixed all the problems and my windows xp machine was running like new again. I noticed that the speed has improved considerably and found that RegCure has a built-in registry optimizer.
