Fix RunDLL Errors Instantly!

Computer errors specifically rundll errors can be very bothersome for a PC user especially when trying to download a program or loading a file.  Although rundll errors are considered a common occurrence when using any Windows computer and are usually resolved by rebooting your computer, the rate at which a user may encounter it may be controlled and may also be fixed using several methods.

Fixing rundll errors may also be part of cleaning your computer’s registry, which is the primary component of any Windows PC. Registry contains data and settings for all software, hardware and preferences on your computer. Any change in programs and features or installation and removal of any program are recorded and stored in the computer registry.  This is why each boot requires the Windows operating system to look into and access information from the registry.

In fixing rundll errors, you should first determine the root cause of the error or the reason why it happened in the first place.  As the computer ages, the registry becomes full as it gathers and accrues old, unused, worthless and other unwanted records left behind by incomplete installations and removals of programs as well as conflicts that arise from configuration and compatibility issues.  This is the main cause of rundll errors that in time slows down the overall performance of your computer.

Most often, rundll errors are also caused by the existence of undeleted or undetected spyware, Trojan or virus on your computer. These enter your computer as part of certain websites, spam emails or when you download some freeware application files.  When you download or open them, the harmful files they carry with them are installed to your computer and attacks or hijacks files being shared with the rundll file. A good antivirus software can help you eliminate these damaging files.

In fixing rundll errors that occur because of the invalid files that stay in your system registry after improper installation of old or previously removed software, a user needs to remove these invalid entries by deleting them on your registry.  Cleaning your registry is the most effective way to remove them.  By downloading and using a registry-cleaning tool, a user can effectively scan and fix errors including rundll errors.

You also need to isolate and identify which files are causing the errors for you to be able to repair efficiently.  You need to first run a clean boot on your PC.  Then by clicking start on the menu, click run and then type misconfig as input, then click ok.  System config window will open and you will need to click the small circle in selective startup.  Remove selection of all but one file chosen in random but you need to remember which of them was already checked.  Click ok and reboot the PC.  Observe if the said file is the cause of the rundll error.  Repeat the process again until you’ve identified the item that causes the rundll problem.  Once you have, select the tab of the identified item and repeat the selection process among the items choices below the tab.  Once you have identified the particular item, you may choose to uninstall the said program properly and install a new one.
