CcSvcHst.exe Explained
Ccsvchst.exe is an executable file which comes from the Symantec Service Frameowrk (Symantec Corporation), which is added to your system files whenever you install Norton products such as Security Technologies and Symantec Event Manager. This file is usually found within C:\Program Files\Common Files folder.
Problems with CcSvcHst.exe
One of the most common ccsvchst.exe errors is the application error which is illustrated below:

That way you can detect if there are any left over files or configurations from the Norton product you deleted and make sure the uninstallation was successful. When you have completely removed the previous installation, reinstall your Norton product once again.
